hydrafacial®

An advanced, multi-step treatment designed to restore skin function, improve clarity, and prepare the skin for long-term correction.

  • Hydrafacial is often misunderstood as simply a deep cleansing treatment. In reality, it is a clinically developed procedure designed to improve overall skin function, not just surface appearance.

The treatment works by combining controlled exfoliation, pore decongestion, and targeted infusion in a single, continuous process. This allows the skin to be cleared of build-up while simultaneously being replenished with hydrating and antioxidant-rich solutions.

Unlike traditional facials, which tend to focus on the surface, Hydrafacial works both within the pores and across the skin barrier, improving clarity, hydration, and overall skin condition in a more consistent and controlled way.

At The Look by Louise, Hydrafacial is used as a foundational treatment to reset the skin, creating the optimal environment for maintaining skin health or progressing onto more advanced corrective treatments where required.

  • Hydrafacial works through a controlled, multi-step protocol designed to treat the skin at both an epidermal and follicular level, improving overall skin function and condition.

Using patented technology, the device generates a consistent, pressurised flow across the skin. This allows for simultaneous exfoliation, chemical resurfacing, extraction, and infusion, delivering a more controlled and uniform treatment compared to traditional manual techniques.

The treatment begins with mechanical and chemical exfoliation to remove the outer layer of surface debris, supporting improved cell turnover. A mild acid solution is then applied to break down sebum, congestion, and impurities within the pores, allowing for effective extraction using controlled vacuum technology.

Once the skin has been thoroughly cleared, targeted solutions containing humectants, antioxidants, and peptides are delivered into the skin. These support hydration, reinforce barrier function, and improve overall skin condition at a cellular level.

  • The skin naturally renews itself through a cell turnover cycle that typically takes around 28–40 days. However, this process slows with age, environmental exposure, and lifestyle factors, leading to a build-up of dead skin cells, congestion within the pores, and a decline in overall skin function.

While at-home skincare plays an important role, it is often not sufficient to fully remove this build-up or address deeper congestion within the skin. Over time, this can impact skin clarity, hydration, and the effectiveness of the products you are using.

Hydrafacial provides a more controlled and effective way of supporting this process, working to resurface the skin, clear the pores, and restore hydration at a deeper level.

By maintaining regular treatments, the skin is able to function more efficiently, improving overall clarity, balance, and long-term skin health.

  • Hydrafacial is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive or compromised skin.

It can be used to address concerns such as dehydration, congestion, dullness, uneven texture, and early signs of ageing, while also supporting overall skin health.

Signature HydraFacial®

30 mins

Our Signature Hydrafacial is designed to reset the skin, addressing congestion, dehydration, and surface build-up while restoring balance within the skin.

Using a combination of controlled exfoliation, chemical resurfacing, and vortex extraction, the treatment works to clear the pores and support healthy cell turnover, without compromising the skin barrier.

We focus on bringing the skin back to a more stable, functional state, making this an important starting point for both new clients and those maintaining long-term skin health.

Deluxe HydraFacial®

The Deluxe Hydrafacial builds on the Signature protocol, allowing for a more advanced and corrective approach to skin treatment.

Following full skin preparation, the treatment is enhanced with medical-grade LED therapy, using clinically proven wavelengths to target specific skin concerns. This can include reducing inflammation, supporting acne-prone skin, improving healing, and stimulating collagen activity.

This additional step allows us to work beyond surface-level improvement, supporting the skin at a deeper level while maintaining a controlled and non-invasive approach.

The Deluxe Hydrafacial is suited to clients looking to move beyond maintenance and begin addressing underlying skin concerns in a more focused way.

Platinum Sculpt HydraFacial®

Our most advanced Hydrafacial, exclusively to The Look By Louise, designed to address not only the condition of the skin, but the underlying factors that influence how it looks and behaves.

The treatment begins with targeted lymphatic drainage, encouraging the movement of stagnant fluid and supporting the body’s natural detoxification processes. When fluid is retained within the tissues, it can contribute to puffiness, dullness, and a lack of definition. By stimulating lymphatic flow, we are able to improve circulation, reduce congestion within the skin, and create a clearer, more contoured appearance.

As the skin is prepared, a full Hydrafacial protocol is carried out, working to deeply cleanse, resurface, and clear congestion within the pores while restoring hydration and supporting barrier function. This allows the skin to return to a more balanced and functional state.

LED therapy is incorporated to support cellular repair and optimise skin response, helping to calm inflammation and encourage regeneration. The treatment is completed with a focused lymphatic drainage massage, further encouraging fluid movement, relieving tension, and enhancing overall facial definition.

This is a more considered treatment, designed to leave the skin clearer, more refined, and the face visibly less congested, with improved contour and balance.

HydraBack

60 mins

HydraBack is designed to properly treat the skin on the back, an area that is often prone to congestion, breakouts, excess oil, and uneven texture.

Using a combination of exfoliation, pore cleansing, extraction, and hydration, the treatment helps to clear build-up within the skin while improving overall skin condition and balance.

It is particularly beneficial for bacne, post-breakout congestion, rough texture, and skin that feels oily or difficult to manage, leaving the area feeling clearer, smoother, and more refreshed overall.

In many cases, treating the skin effectively requires more than a single approach.

At The Look by Louise, we combine Hydrafacial with advanced technologies to create more considered treatment protocols, allowing us to address multiple factors within the skin at the same time.

By preparing and conditioning the skin first, we are able to improve how it responds to treatment, enhancing both performance and overall skin outcome.

Combined Treatments

HydraLite combines Hydrafacial with Lumecca IPL to target uneven skin tone, sun damage, and pigmentation.

By preparing the skin first with Hydrafacial, we are able to remove surface interference and improve light penetration, allowing Lumecca to work more effectively within the skin.

This treatment is ideal for clients looking to achieve a clearer, brighter, and more even complexion with a more advanced, combined approach.

HydraTight combines Hydrafacial with Forma radiofrequency to address both skin condition and early skin laxity.

Hydrafacial restores hydration and improves skin quality, while Forma delivers controlled heat into the dermis, stimulating collagen production and improving skin firmness over time.

This treatment is particularly suited to clients beginning to notice changes in skin structure, looking for a more preventative and progressive approach.

HydraNeedle combines Hydrafacial with microneedling to deliver a more comprehensive skin treatment.

Hydrafacial prepares the skin by clearing congestion and optimising hydration, creating the ideal conditions for microneedling. This allows for improved treatment performance and more consistent results.

Microneedling then works within the dermis to stimulate collagen production, improving texture, tone, and overall skin structure over time.
