Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty is a quick and painless procedure in which injectable fillers are used as a gentle and more affordable alternative to cosmetic surgery. The purpose of this procedure is to address concerns such as flat or low bridge noses, crooked, hooked noses, and asymmetrical noses. We can also lift and reposition a down-turned tip. We use dermal filler to help balance the profile, in turn giving the illusion of a smaller, more streamlined nose.
Other advantages include profile balancing, many say helping to boost self-esteem and confidence.
No general anaesthetic is used in this procedure and being non-surgical means less risk, less downtime, fewer side effects, and yet with very similar results.
What is dermal filler?
Dermal filler is made up of Hyaluronic Acid (HA) which is a naturally occurring substance already found within the body. Our results are based on using the top 5 FDA-approved brands of dermal filler. The injection itself also contains lidocaine (numbing) within the product to ease the pain of injection.
How much and what can be achieved with Non Surgical Rhinoplasty?
If only small minor tweak/s are required, then these will more than likely be achieved within 1 session, however, some of the slightly larger more obvious noses such as ethnic noses, hooked noses or larger than average dorsal humps, previously broken noses, shattered cartilage and post-surgery corrections could take slightly longer to achieve, but still very possible. Maybe treatment across 1 – 2 sessions or possibly more, is a more realistic approach towards your desired result as we are trying to encourage the nose to settle in a more streamlined position. This is achievable quickly with nose cartilage as it moulds well.
Will it make my nose look bigger?
No, due to our team’s very different approach to NSR and their astonishing capability to balance a side profile. The nose is a very complex area to treat, and in the wrong hands, an increase in size can be very much an issue when carrying out the procedure. We see this a lot when new clients come to visit our clinic, so may ask you to dissolve any previous filler received elsewhere. Many try to copy us, but Louise has been developing her nonsurgical rhinoplasty techniques for a number of years, in order to offer results that mirror surgery. The results are astounding, each and every time.
Is there any downtime or side effects?
The procedure must be carried out by an experienced and highly skilled professional, ensuring maximum safety and minimal risk. You can experience redness, swelling, tenderness, and sometimes slight bruising. These will subside in a matter of days. Dermal fillers are made up of a naturally occurring substance, so it is extremely rare to suffer an allergic reaction. We also ask you to refrain from wearing make-up in the area for 24 hours, no exercise or glasses to rest on the upper bridge for 7 days.
How long will the procedure take?
Including a consultation no longer than 30 minutes. This treatment can sometimes be carried out over two sessions, the purpose of this is to help maintain longevity when building shape over time and gives an overall safer approach to minimise any risks that come with the procedure. Every individual is different, what may give an immediate result on one client may take two sessions to achieve on another. If you do require a second session, we recommend 6-8 weeks between treatments to allow you to settle, as your safety is paramount. A second treatment will help to maintain longevity. Not everybody will require a second treatment.
How long do the results last?
Results can last on average 9-12 months, but this can vary depending on several factors including age, genetics, mainly lifestyle and metabolism, over-exposure to the sun, and also alcohol intake. A maintenance treatment is required once a year to maintain results and give longevity.
To ensure complete safety during this procedure, your practitioner may advise you to augment across two sessions. This is to encourage softening of cartilage and tissue.
Aesthetic treatments are not an exact science, and we cannot guarantee the longevity of your NSR. This solely depends on you.
To get maximum results from your treatment please adhere to the following advice;
Refrain from any alcohol, strenuous exercise, make-up application, and UVA tanning beds for the first few weeks after treatment.
Please remember, excessive alcohol consumption, smoking, strenuous exercise, and sun exposure can affect and help to reduce the lifespan of your treatment.
Is it painful?
No, our FDA-approved range of fillers are all lidocaine infused, so the area is numbed as we treat. Treatment is quick and painless. Well worth the astounding results.
How much is Non Surgical Rhinoplasty?
Pricing ranges from £450. Please see our Injectables pricelist for further information.
*Please note prices vary between both locations.
How will I know if I need a second session?
Unfortunately, you won’t until the swelling disappears and your nose has been given time to settle.
Second sessions are usually only required to resharpen and re-lift tips that have softened during the downtime period, or maybe if you are a more complex case to treat i.e asymmetry and it is safer to treat across two sessions. NSR is a very technical treatment and should only be carried out by experienced professionals. This is why the second session is always price on consultation, we will take a look at how much treatment time is involved and quote you from there, but it will always be less than the initial treatment price. Please see our price list for more information. Please also note that the initial session is always a set price per treatment for all clientele.
Is my second/top up session free?
We try not to use the word top-up, as the same unrivaled skill and artistry are put into every single treatment at the The Look by Louise, we treat every procedure as though it was your first, no matter how many times you have visited us! Why choose NSR over surgery?
Fewer risks and a lot less downtime are a couple of reasons to choose our NSR! At The Look by Louise our NS Rhinoplasty clients can return to their normal activities within just a few hours, but we ask clients to be realistic when expressing their desires, and will always strive to let you know what is achievable and maintainable. Sometimes surgery may be the better option.
